North Texas Irish Fest

Each year, the DFW Gaelic League has a booth at the North Texas Irish Festival (NTIF). We talk to folks in English (and occasionally as Gaeilge to get their attention) and see if anyone is interested in joining the fun.
 

Which Fair Park Building?

Generally we're in the "cultural hall" along with the Irish Dance Schools, Greyhound Rescues, and Civil War reenactors. Usually that's the Centennial Building at Fair Park (the one closest to the old train museum side entrance).
 

Volunteering/Cheap Tickets

As a cultural hall booth, we're able to get a small number of discounted tickets. We're happy to pass the discount on to anyone who would be able to take a few hours and help out at the booth. All we ask is that you're willing to talk to folks passing by and tell them about class locations and times. You don't even have to speak very much Irish.
